Offering a rare and exceptional JH 501 armchair. Most commonly known as “The Chair”, this is expertly designed for style and comfort and exquisitely constructed from solid oak. The chair retains the original branded maker’s mark.

Designed in 1949 by Hans J. Wegner and produced by Johannes Hansen (retailed by Knoll International)

Denmark, 1960s

Sculpted solid oak, with black leather upholstery.

Measures: 24.75″W x 21″D x 30″H. Seat height 18″. Arm height 27.25″.

Expertly restored and reupholstered. Excellent condition.

Due to the nature of antiques and vintage furniture, we cannot accept any returns on purchased items. This means all sales are final so please inspect the items and measure before you purchase.

Do you deliver?

We do charge a flat delivery based on the distance of the delivery. Please contact us if you live outside the South Bend/Mishawaka area. We will deliver up to 100 miles from South Bend.

Do You Consign Pieces?

Will Liberty & 33rd Hold an Item for Me?

Deposit Holds: Yes, We will hold an item for up to one week (7 days) from the time we receive a 20% down deposit. After a week has passed and an item(s) has not been paid for in full, the deposit becomes store credit and the item(s) is no longer on hold.
