Edward Wormley for Dunbar Superstructure Wall Unit or Room Divider

A rare and exceptional “superstructure” wall unit display cabinet or room divider designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar Furniture. The curved-front cabinet is constructed of walnut with with stunning burled olive ash lower cabinet doors and a brass-clad plinth base and brass trim. The back of the cabinet is flat, but the front is concave, including the display shelves. The piece is finished on all sides and could be used floating in the center of a room.

The unit offers ample space for storage and display. The top section has three open glass shelves on each side and three additional glass shelves behind two doors in the center. The bottom cabinet has three adjustable shelves and a single felt-lined drawer with dividers for silverware. The middle cabinet locks, and the key is included. Would make a great dry bar cabinet. This outstanding piece has been expertly refinished and is in excellent condition. The perfect addition to any modern or mid-century modern environment.
