A rare and truly exceptional mahogany and satinwood extension dining table from Baker Furniture’s Stately Homes Collection. This fine Regency table is a two-pedestal mahogany table with broad satinwood crossbanded and ebonized borders and a rounded rectangular top. The table is solidly braced by reeded column supports bound with molded ties on three carved and reeded legs with solid brass toes and casters. The table offers three large leaves measuring 19″ each. When fully extended the table measures 135″. The table has been expertly restored and is in pristine condition.
This table is part of the prestigious Stately Homes Collections by Baker. This 1982 reproduction is modeled after the original that sits in the Knebworth House built in 1492. The original table was constructed in 1815 and sits in the main formal dining room.
Measures: 78″W x 48″D x 28.75″H. Extends up to 135″W with three 19″ leaves.
